Logo and signature for your receipts
Updated
Every receipt needs an Authorized Signature. A logo is optional.
Add your signature
In the Authorized Signature area of the form, pick one:
- Upload: choose an image of the signature.
- Type to Sign: type a name and it is drawn in a script font.
If you leave it empty, you get the message Authorized signature is required.
Add your logo
Click the Organization Logo field and choose an image. You can skip it.
Image formats and size
- Use a PNG, JPEG or WebP image. PNG is best for a signature or logo with a transparent background, because it keeps the transparency.
- You don't need to resize the image. The page shrinks large images for you before it uploads them.
- If the browser can't read the file, you see This image could not be read. Please choose a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image.
- Very detailed photos can fail with "Image too complex to store". Use a simpler image, such as a scan of a signature on white paper or a logo exported from a design tool.
Signed in: save them for next time
If you are signed in, the logo and signature you choose are saved. You see Saved for future receipts under the field, with the note "Used automatically unless you replace it." They are used automatically on your next receipt.
- To replace one, click Replace and choose another image.
- To stop using one, click Remove and confirm. If you remove the signature, your next receipt asks for a signature again.
Not signed in
Nothing is saved for next time. You upload or type the signature, and choose the logo, every time.
If it doesn't work
- The file isn't an image, or the browser can't read it: save it again as a PNG or JPEG.
- A message that the image is too complex: try a smaller or simpler version.
- The wrong signature appears: check whether a saved one is being used, and replace or remove it.
